For those of you who still don’t know why Will Smith melted down during Sunday night’s basement Oscars telecast, I’d like to offer the following…

Although she received terrible criticism for hosting the 2022 BAFTA Awards, it was Rebel Wilson who humiliated Will Smith in full public view.
By the way, Will Smith also won the Best Leading Actor award at these BAFTA Awards.
Rebel Wilson’s Will Smith Joke, at least to me, explains it all… As I’ve explained here, Smith’s public humiliation this year after being denounced by his own wife as a cuckold lit the fuse that left him blew up in front of the whole world. Sunday night.
Smith’s wife, Jada, didn’t just sleep on him; he acknowledged it pretending to be okay with it. Well, no self-respecting person is okay with something like that. Open marriages are usually the idea of one partner being selfish while the other seethes with jealousy and insecurity.
Plus, Smith has spent three decades creating an image of a ladies’ man who’s too cool for school, and in one podcast, his own wife blew it all up in his face.
Damn, Jada had a relationship with one of her son’s friends!
Nothing good comes from publicly emasculating your husband. And on Sunday night, the nothing good that came out of it was an unstable, out-of-control Will Smith seeking to reassert his manhood by slapping a much smaller man. The result? Smith is even more emasculated now. This much smaller man – Chris Rock – took the hit like a man, and 40 minutes later Will Smith clung to an Oscar and cried like a baby to justify his reprehensible behavior.
You can criticize Rebel Wilson and Chris Rock all you want. But they are comedians, and Will and Jada are public figures. Did Wilson take a cheap hit? Yes. But Chris Rock didn’t. His G.I. Jane joke was a big no-no – even though Rock knew Jada was a “victim” of a hair loss disease, it was still a no-no.
If you want to be a public figure, you better develop thick skin.
What would Will Smith have done against Don Rickles? Did you go through the post?
If you want to become global celebrities and then willfully spew all your personal hang-ups, peccadilloes, and flaws on public podcasts, I suggest you brace yourself and be prepared for a few chuckles and low blows.
If you’re too baby to handle all of this, then I suggest you keep your unhealthy and twisted personal life to yourself.
In other words, don’t do this:
