Lost Ark releases the Machinist Advanced class on the August-September roadmap

It’s been barely a week since Lost Ark’s July update went live, and developer Smilegate has already revealed what the next two months have in store for the MMO. While the content dropping in August and September will be the usual live events, new characters and system related updates, the devs have chosen a different mode of delivery. Instead of one big update for each month, the roadmap reveals that Lost Ark will receive multiple smaller ones.

The August update will see the introduction of Pet Ranch, which is “the perfect place to play with your pets, grow and earn rewards.” Not much has been revealed about the farm, but you will be able to pick up ‘Yes, Pet Ranch’! Quest once you unlock the farm, cave, and get a pet. It appears to be a place where you can have special interactions with your pet, such as restoring morale, performing functions, and earning jelly cookies for rewards.

August also sees more activities during the Maharka festival. You should look for Maharaka tree leaves, as you can collect them and trade them for new mounts and cosmetics.

September will see two major updates – one technical, and one content heavy The technical update will roll out first, paving the way for upcoming content. Apart from regular maintenance and improvements, this update will also include quality of life features that were recently added in the South Korea region. Highlights for this update include a global chat room, improved cross-server interaction, a few new cosmetics, combat improvements, and settings changes.

However, September’s second update starts with a new Advanced class. Machinists use high-tech weapons and armor to gain an advantage on the battlefield. “When standard weapons and drone strikes aren’t enough to destroy a target, the Machinist can activate their identity skills and adapt cutting-edge technology with hypersync capabilities,” the description reads. “The energy cores of the high-tech hypersync suits can be charged by landing attacks, and once in, the hypersync cores will be consumed by energy abilities until the Machinist is exhausted.” So, it’s basically Iron Man.

Lastly, the update will also introduce the Kakul-Sydon Legion Raid, where you battle the Mayhem Legion.
