real Madrid Midfielder Isco has responded to a fan on social media who suggested he was the ‘mole’ who leaked the club’s starting XI to a well-known radio station.
Ahead of Tuesday night’s crucial Champions League quarter-final clash against European champions Chelsea, La Liga leaders announced their roster more than two hours before kick-off.
According to reports in Spain, the reason for the early announcement is because Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti was aware of the ‘mole’ in the Los Blancos dressing room leaking the XI to a radio station.
Twitter account @theMadridZone released an update on the situation at 6:37 p.m. Tuesday.

Real Madrid fans have started to speculate about the identity of the ‘mole’, with one Twitter user suggesting it was Spanish midfielder Isco, who has made 14 appearances for the club in all competitions this season.
The 29-year-old then responded to the fan saying he wasn’t even in the conversation when Ancelotti revealed the squad.
He wrote: “Isco is not, since I am not called and did not attend the technical conference. Send the hate elsewhere! SAD.”
Isco no es, ya que no estoy convocado y no he asistido a la charla técnica, a mandar hate a otro lado! SAD😂

The Spain international has fallen out of favor under Carlo Ancelotti and with his contract expiring this summer, Spanish publication The Chiringuito claim that he has already decided to join the Catalan giants in principle.
Barcelona club president Joan Laporta wants to strengthen his squad with free agents due to his financial situation.
