Destiny 2 Trick Lets Players Open PsiOp Battlegrounds Chest Twice

A Destiny 2 cheat allows players to loot the chest at the end of PsiOp Battlegrounds twice in a single run, providing plenty of loot.

Destiny 2‘s The Witch Queen was released alongside Season of the Risen, which was one of the best companion releases the game has ever seen, if not the best overall. Season of the Risen’s story explores themes of trust, commitment to a cause, and the moral ambiguity of hurting the Lucent Hive despite the fact that these warriors wield the powers of the Light. These plot points are established via the new seasonal activity: PsiOp Battlegrounds, which comes in three variants based on story missions.

Among them, Destiny 2 players can currently jump into the Legend version of the Cosmodrome PsiOp Battleground, which will transition to the Moon version next week. Although the Cosmodrome PsiOp Battleground offers nothing special compared to the others for players who have already completed the seasonal story, this is where players can currently use a cheat to get a double reward from the chest final. This mechanic isn’t too different from what happened in Season of Opulence’s Menagerie, and it’s very easy to pull off.

Destiny 2 YouTuber and content creator SneakyBeaver shared a video that explains how this cheat works, and all players need to do is simply complete the activity as normal, open the chest once, then return to the previous area of the PsiOp battlefield. An effective way to do this is to use fast movement skills with no cooldowns, such as Shield Bash or any sword with the Eager Edge perk to sword skate and move faster. Once players leave the area of the Cosmodrome dedicated to the initial encounter with the Hive Knight and open the chests, they will be teleported there.

At this point, players can pay the 500 Psycho Intel to open the chest again, gaining more chances to use Deepsight Resonance weapons and seasonal loot in general. Destiny 2The Legend PsiOp Battleground rotation will not feature the Cosmodrome area for two weeks after next Tuesday’s weekly reset, but players can still complete the normal version of PsiOp Battlegrounds and do the trick once they will have found themselves in the cosmodrome.

It is worth noting that Destiny 2 will be getting rid of some crafting materials next season, which will lead to an easier approach to crafting weapons. As such, stockpiling Deepsight Resonance weapons now is a good idea to then craft better guns later, and opening an additional chest per PsiOp Battleground run means players are more likely to get them in less time than to play activity. back to back.

Destiny 2 is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
