2022 Masters Tee Times, Pairings: Full Field, Groups, Schedule Set for Round 1 at Augusta National

AUGUSTA, Ga. — Tee times and first- and second-round groups have been released for the 2022 Masters, and as usual, Augusta National has split the wealth proportionately. From start to finish, there is intrigue from the first tee on the long, glorious spring days of the first major championship of the year.

There are a number of strong groups established for the times of 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. ET. Here are a few that stand out from the rest of the field.

10:12 a.m. — Kevin Kisner, Daniel Berger and Tommy Fleetwood
10:23 a.m. — Bryson DeChambeau, Cameron Smith, Paul Casey
10:34 a.m. — Tiger Woods, Louis Oosthuizen, Joaquin Niemann
10:45 a.m. — Hideki Matsuyama, Justin Thomas, James Piot (a)
10:56 a.m. – Adam Scott, Scottie Scheffler, Tony Finau

1:30 p.m. — Dustin Johnson, Billy Horschel, Collin Morikawa
1:41 p.m. — Will Zalatoris, Patrick Cantlay, Jon Rahm
1:52 p.m. — Jordan Spieth, Viktor Hovland, Xander Schauffele
2:03 p.m. — Matthew Fitzpatrick, Brooks Koepka, Rory McIlroy

Augusta National doesn’t normally do the mega-group thing for the first two days, and while that’s technically true (they didn’t field the top three players in the world), these Spieth-Hovland-Schauffele and Fitzpatrick- Koepka-McIlroy trios are going to be a pleasure to watch close out the first round of action. From top to bottom of the tee sheet, there’s a nice amalgamation of many different types of players at different stages of their careers.

Here is an overview of all the bands that will start playing Thursday at the 86h Masters.
